Resin

Our Resin Collection pieces are suitable for cold food presentation only.

These products should be hand washed in warm water. Resin may appear “frosted” after washing and should be rubbed with a drop of cooking oil to restore sheen. All resin pieces are not to be placed in a dishwasher.

All resin pieces are strong and durable but should be treated like a ceramic and are not shock-absorbent. Just like ceramic, it can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface. Hausette is not responsible for breakages that result from pieces being dropped or knocked or that are damaged due to general wear and tear.

Resin is not fire resistant and so they should not be used in an oven, a microwave, dishwasher or as an ashtray.

Like many materials, certain colours in resin may change over time, due to the conditions they are exposed to, including sunlight.

Resin is a non-porous material. If any cosmetic discolouration or stubborn marks are noticed, we recommend using a mild abrasive cleaner or cream cleanser to assist with removing them.
